We purpose to make sure that all our children of all abilities learn. We also allow all our children to develop socially, and to excel in academic, artistic, and aesthetic growth.

Procedures For Registration
There are 2 ways in which a student can register:
1. Sitting the CPEA Examinations
2. Obtaining a transfer from another Secondary school

CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
The petit Bordel secondary School is committed to excellence. Not only do we insist on this quality in students’ academic work, but we expect this to inform the student behaviour at school, on the way to school, or from school. If you are enrolled at this school then you need to observe and familiarize yourself with the following code of behaviour. These regulations have been submitted to the Ministry of Education and have received approval from the Chief education. Students are asked to note that The St. Vincent & The Grenadines Education Act 2006 outlines students rights and responsibilities. Please feel free to peruse this document.
The school expects you to:

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL
School begins at 8:15 a.m. Students should leave home in time to arrive at school at about 8:05. Students should enter their classroom quietly and take their assigned seat. Attendance is taken at the beginning of the morning and evening sessions.
Generally school dismisses at 3:00 p.m. except on those occasions when there is a PTA conference, bad weather, certain national festivals or a dismissal authorized by the Ministry of Education. You are expected to wait on the bell.
PERMISSION FOR EARLY DISMISSAL: There are times when your parents may request, by letter, that you be allowed to leave school before school dismisses at 3:00 p.m. You need to do the follow:

- Be respectful to all members of staff and obey their instructions.
- Be accountable to his/her teachers for his/her conduct on school on the school premises during school hours.
- Be accountable to his/her teachers for his/her conduct in authorized school activities conducted outside school hours.
- Be punctual and regular in attendance
- Be clean and tidy in your habits and general deportment
- Respect the right and property of your fellow students
- Never deface, write graffiti on, or vandalize school property
- Never eat food, candy, seeds or drink- beverages in the classroom.
- Walk through the corridors correctly in a manner that is not loud, disruptive or dangerous to yourself or others.
- Never leave the school compound without permission from the principal or a teacher.
- Be prepared for all classes each day.
- Be diligent in pursuing your education.
- Take proper care of all books, material and equipment that are the property of the school.
- Observe the dress code of the school at all times except for those occasions when you have been granted permission to be differently attired.
- Participate in the school’s extra and co-curricular activities

- Bring a note from your parent that should include the time and reason for the request and a phone number where your parent can be reached to confirm this request.
- Bring this letter to the Secretary who will record your time of departure for attendance purposes and take it to the principal to have it signed.
- If a parent has to pick you up at school, you need to wait in your class if it is in session, until the principal sends for you. If there is no class, then you should come to the office and await your parent.
- If you have been issued a suspension letter, you must remain seated in the office for instructions from the principal. All suspensions begin from the next school day.
ABSENCES: Please do the following:
- Let your parent write a letter giving your name, form, date and reason for your absence.
- On returning to school, this letter should be presented to your form teacher.
- Let your parent call the school to indicate before hand your absence from school.
- If you are returning to school after an injury, a doctor’s certificate must be attached to your parent’s note.
- Always call one of your classmates to get the homework for the day.
